Visiting Friends and Family

Twelve weeks already?!? Where in the world is the time going? Abby is growing up so fast!

On Thursday my dad came up and kidnapped Abby and I for the day! We went down to visit with my Grandma Jefferson who came back last week from Florida. I wasn't able to get any pictures of her with Grandma because Abby was quite crabby and in need of a nap! I am sure that this summer we will be able to get a picture of Abby with her Grandma Great! :) Just around the time that school got out, my dad took us into the high school so I could show of my baby to some of my high school teachers. It was fun to see them again!
Abby (almost 3 months old) and Bryson (about 11 months old)
This weekend Abby made a new friend! Roland and I took Abby up to visit with one of my roommates from college and her family! Jessica and Quinten have a little boy who is almost one year old! He is such a little stud muffin! Jessica's parents and her sisters watched Abby and Bryson while the four of us went to the temple to do some sealings! It was so wonderful to be able to go to the temple and to have a double date! While we were out, Jessica's parents sent us a picture of Abby and Bryson eating from their bottles right next to each other! It is amazing the size difference between the two of them!

For some reason when I upload the picture it wont let me rotate it!

Happy Little Ducky

Check out Abby in her Bumbo!
Wow! I this week I am really late . . . but it isn't Tuesday yet, so I am still good! This week (meaning week 11) Abby had to say good bye to Aunt Nicole and Uncle Joseph. Tuesday night they came down to have dinner with us, then on Thursday Abby and I went up to visit with Aunt Nicole one last time . . . and Friday morning they left for Rexburg! It was kind of hard to believe that this day really was going to come! We are going to miss them a lot, and Abby is going to be HUGE when we see them again at Christmas!  On Saturday, Aunt Katie came to visit Abby and I while Roland was at work. It was fun just us girls! Abby has become her daddy's little drool monster! We thought that she might be cutting a tooth already, because she was so cranky but no teeth yet! I don't mind it if she is super old when she does get her first tooth, because once you start getting teeth, you have to start brushing them . . . especially when your grandpa is a dentist! :) On Sunday we attended the ground breaking for the extention of our church building! We are super excited about the building getting bigger. Mother's Day will be our last Sunday in our church building, then we will be attending church at the Jensen Community Center in Amherst.  Abby has started to bring her hands together like in the picture above in her Bumbo. I love seeing Abby reach each new milestone, but at the same time I sometimes feel like time is flying by too fast! I hope I don't miss anything!

Happy as can be to be 11 weeks old!

Momma's Little Talker

Abby is getting so big and starting to talk so much, she talked through this weeks photo shoot! :) This week Roland's mom came for a visit to meet Miss Abby! We had so much fun together! I enjoyed having Roland's mom here this week, because Abby recieved her two month old shots on Monday and his mom has gone through giving shots with five kids, so she has lots of practice with soothing babies! :)

On Wednesday Aunt Nicole came down to visit with us as Roland was at school and work!  Then on Thursday we had another girls day and went to Gresham to visit some of Grandma Fuller's friends. I loved having two days with just us girls! We had kept Abby out all day, so when we got home she went straight to sleep . . . and slept for 12 hours straight! 7:30pm-7:30am! I am so proud of my little sleeper! Roland and his mom whent on a Mother/Son date Friday night, he had so much fun with his momma! Abby loved having all the attention and love from her grandma visiting!

Easter was on Sunday so Roland and I went down to my parents' house. We had Easter dinner at my Aunt Beth's house and Abby got to meet lots of new family members! We died eggs, but by that time, Abby was a little tired so she didn't enjoy it very much. I am sure next year she will enjoy it a lot more, plus she will be able to dye her eggs be herself! How fun will that be!

I can't believe how much Abby is growing! This week after giving Abby her bath, I tried putting her in the sleeper that she came home from the hospital in, and it is offical . . . Abby has out grown her newborn clothes! My little peanut is growing up so fast! I am so grateful that I am doing this weekly update! I know that this first year is going to go so fast and I love that I can at least look at the pictures to see her grow up before my eyes! :)

Ten weeks old and talking nonstop! :)

Smiling Princess Abby

A great big smile to wish everyone a very Happy Easter!
My beautiful little princess is nine weeks old and on Monday she had her two month old check up, I am forever amazed at how fast she is growing and how quickly time is going! I am trying my best to soak in each and every day the best I can and to capture every moment!

This past week Abby and I had fun visiting with Aunt Nicole on Wednesday! We love spending time with Aunt Nicole and we are going to miss her when she goes back to Rexburg! This past weekend was General Conference and Miss Abby pretty much slept through most of the sessions! Maybe she will be awake for some of the October ones! :)

Monday was her two month old check up and when she received her shots! It defiantly wasn't fun hearing her cry, but I would rather have a few days of a fussy baby than have my child get very sick! Grandma Jefferson (my mom) and Aunt Vicki came with me to her appointment because Roland had class and I didn't want to go to this appointment by myself! It was nice to be able to see them and have help with Abby when she was wanting to be cuddled after her shots.

Abby's doctor is very impressed with how strong she is and is very pleased with how well she is developing! She is talking so much and loves to smile at everyone! I love how curious my Abby is of all her surroundings, she is going to be a handful when she starts walking and can explore even more! Abby now weighs 9 pounds and 15 ounces with a length of 22.64 inches! In the past month she has gained 1 pound 2 ounces and a little over 1 inch! Abby's doctor said that she is one happy baby and she doesn't think that there is really anything that could upset our little princess! :)

While Abby's doctor was listening to her heart, she heard a heart murmur. So, she had us set up an appointment to get it checked out with a pediatric cardiologist. We were able to set one up for Tuesday morning! Monday night, after receiving a blessing, Abby had a good night sleep. Tuesday morning when we went to the doctor, he told us that Abby did have a heart murmur, but it was an innocent one. That means that there isn't any medical complications with her heart or activity restrictions in our future, it just means that her heart beats to a little bit different rhythm. She is unique and special straight to the heart! :)

Roland's mom is right now visiting with us and is meeting our little Abby! She arrived Tuesday evening, which is one of the reasons why I am posting this late! Abby, Roland and I are loving that his mom is here! I will tell you all about Abby's fun adventures with Grandma Fuller in next week's blog, along with Abby's first Easter adventures! Happy Easter everyone! Remember to say a little prayer to thank our Heavenly Father for sending us His Son so we might too return home to Him! :)
Nine weeks old and ready to go for a running adventure!
